"Catch the Reading Bug" Party

Our library has a wonderful children's program. All the kids that participated in the summer reading program got to come to the party. There was a professional puppet company, blow-up bouncies, a store (where the kids got one "dollar" for every half-hour they read). Annora earned 70 tickets.

Dance Badge Camp

Lena (one of our troop's Leaders In Training-LIT for short), organized and taught some of the girls (the ones NOT on vacation at the time) the requirements for their Dance merit badge.

The girls choreographed their own dance to "I'll Take You Back" by Jeremy Camp.

Me, right before the end-of-summer party, where the girls dressed in dance costumes and performed for everyone. Had a good turnout for it being the middle of the summer!

AHG Bake Sale

Our American Heritage Girls troop had a bake sale and gave away free water at "Celebrate America" on the Sunday before July 4th.
